Cotton Club is the new name of what was formerly 52 Degrees North, the petite and hip club bar so named because Birmingham, the bustling metropolis in which it is located, lies at approximately that latitude. Assisting in the process of navigating thirsty and shortsighted punters to its door is a glass tower. However many in the city could probably navigate to the place blindfolded.
The 600 capacity venue has been given a slick makeover along with the new name. The tower entrance, booths, bar, dance floor and podiums have been festooned with brightly-coloured lights.
Cotton Club also contains and restaurant and VIP room with its own balcony that overlooks the action in the main room.
The best music is provided by the quality conscious Miss Moneypenny's lot on their International Boutique nights.
Please note you must be 18 or over to attend events at Cotton Club.
